Mary [Marie] J. Pawlak, 82 of Lena died Thursday April 13,1995 at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls.

The former Mary {Marie] J. Crochenet was born Novenber 3, 1912 in the town of lena to the late Maurice and Margarent Cochenet. She married Adam Pawlak May 30 1935 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena. The couple operated a farm in the town of Lena until retirement. Marie was a member of the Alter Society of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena.

Surviving besides her husband Adam are two sons and daughters-in-law, Willard and Shirley Pawlak, Memphis, Tenn., Wilfred and Kristi Pawlak, Exter, N.H.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother Elmer [Anna] Cochenet, Green Bay. She was preceded in death by a bother Richard and sister, Agnes.

Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapa Funeral Home Lena, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday and after 8 a.m. Monday until 9:45 a.m. Wake service 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christan Burial 10 a.m. Monday at Holy Cross [formerly St. Charles] Catholic Church, Lena. The Rev. Harold Beerntsen will officate with interment in St. Charles Cemetery, Lena.
