Mr. Monigal was born in Wrightstown Sept. 4, 1892, and resided and attended schools in the area for 25 years. He farmed with his family at Pound and in 1929 married the former Mabel Olson of Green Valley. The couple moved to Oconto Falls where he was employed by the county and the City of Oconto Falls until his retirement in 1962. Mr. Monigal was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Anthony Church, Oconto Falls.
Surviving are his wife; one son William, Green Bay; two brothers, Ambrose Monigal, Green Bay; William Monigal, Iron Mountain; two sisters, Mrs. Maurice Closser, Gillett; Miss Winifred Monigal, Oconto Falls.
Four sisters and one brother preceded him in death. At Soulek Funeral Home, Oconto Falls after 2 pm Tuesday. Parish Rosary at 8 Tuesday evening. Holy Name Society Rosary at 8. Funeral at 10 am Wednesday, St. Anthony Catholic Church, Oconto Falls, with the Rev. Joseph Tomczyk officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
