-Last rites for Mrs. J.M. Ankerson, 74, who died Sunday afternoon in the Oconto Falls hospital after an illness of one year, were held Wednesday afternoon in the Gillett Methodist church with the Rev. Edward Soper, friend of the family who came from Pewaukee, conducting the rites with the pastor, the Rev. Leslie Simons. Burial was in the Wanderers Rest cemetery.

Pallbearers were her nephews, Les Ansorge, William Schleicher, Norman Norwood and Wilfred Ankerson and Gilbert Larson. The Kuehl Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
