Word was received here of the death of Mrs. John Hillis, 95, at Greenville, Saratoga County, N.Y. Mrs. Hillis resided in Oconto Falls for many years, and would have been 96 on Sept. 5. Mr. Hillis died about 12 years ago, and for the past several years Mrs. Hillis made her home with a grandniece in New York.

She had been a patient in a convalescent home for the past year. She was a native of New York. The body will be brought to the O'Neill Funeral home here. Arrangements for burial will be announced later.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Harvey Peters of Winnebago, and two nephews, Tom Goebel, who has been in Oconto Falls frequently and is now working on the Great Lakes, and his twin brother.
