He was born Jan. 23, 1888 at Sugarbush. He married Eleanor Hanna Oct. 29, 1918 at St. Patrick Catholic Church at Stiles. She preceded him in death in 1954. He worked as a logger for many years and also worked at Holt Hardwood Mill from 1923 until his retirement in 1958. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Stiles.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Lorraine Jacquart of R2-oconto and James and Terese Jacquart of West Allis; two daughters and son-in-law, Evelyn and Merrill Vandervest of Green Bay and Betty and William Cowans of Green Bay; one brother and two sisters-in law, Eugene and Marie Jacquart of Two Rivers and Margaret Jacquart of Green Bay, 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Alton, two sisters and four brothers.
Visitation was held at the Gallagher-Pinkart funeral home Monday. Funeral serves were held Tuesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald Becker officiating. Burial at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stiles.
