Marion M. Kowalczyk, 71, Lena, died at her home Thursday, April 6, 2000. She was born to the late John and Emma (Nooyen) Henrichs January 19, 1929, in Lena, WI. The former Marion Henrichs married Jack Kowalczyk July 19, 1947, at the former St. Charles Catholic Church of Lena. She devoted her life to being a loving wife and mother. Marion enjoyed gardening, canning and caring for her family and home. She was an active member of Holy Cross Catholic Community.

Surviving are her husband, Jack; three daughters, Mary (Jerome) Pashouwer, Appleton; Laurie Kinziger, Lena; and Julie (special friend Jim Marquardt) Diehlmann, Lena; six grandchildren; three brothers, Milton Henrichs, Boulder Junction; Jack (Betty) Henrichs, Indiana; Jerry (Judy) Henrichs, Lena; two sisters, Gloria (Doug) Dorrow, Kelly Lake; Carol (Delbert) Krause, Marinette; two sisters-in-law, JoAnne Skarda, Lena; and Pat (Allen) Pelishek, Oconto.

Friends called at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena, where a parish vigil service was held. The Funeral Mass was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Lena at 11 a.m. Monday with Father Frank Schrage officiating. Interment at Pine Hill Cemetery, Spruce.
