Marilyn A. Jisa, 71, Oconto Falls, died Monday, January 31, 2000 at Community Memorial Hospital, Oconto Falls. She was born to the late Harry and Esther (Green) Hough February 1, 1928 in Honey Creek, Iowa. The former Marilyn Hough married Albert Jisa September 15, 1951 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Council Bluff, Iowa. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Spruce.

Surviving are husband, Albert; children, Phillip (Sharon) Jisa, Gwinn, MI; John (Esther) Verhagen, Gillett; Vicki (fiance Keith Gunderson) Jisa, Bonduel; David (Kate) Jisa, Wisconsin Dells; Christine Jisa, Des Plaines, IL; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and three sisters. Marilyn was preceded in death by two sisters. Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena. A vigil service was held. Funeral Mass was held 11 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2000 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Spruce location, with Father Frank Schrage officiating. Interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Spruce.
