Margaret L. Heider Jendrusiak

Margaret L. (Header) Jendrusiak, 80, an Abrams resident died October 1, 2000 at Grancare Nursing Center in Green Bay.

Margaret, the oldest of seven children born to the late Alex and Florence (Knowles) Heider, was born March 15, 1920. She married George B. Jendrusiak October 30, 1937. he preceded her in death August 19, 1957. Margaret was a member of United Methodist Church, Abrams. In addition to her commitment to her family and friends she served as a troop leader to many Abrams Scouts, receiving a lifetime achievement award from the Boy Scouts of America for her service and dedication. Margaret is survived by a daughter, Cathy (Tom) Kozlowski, Abrams; four sons, George (Marie), St. Petersburg, FL; Charles (Wands), Seymour; Ken (Rosemary), Clearwater, FL; Larry (Roberta), Green Bay; 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Heider, Hermansville, MI; Jay (Arlene) Heider, Rochester, MN; four sisters, Marian (Wilson) Smith, Leesburg, FL; Grace (Louie) Krause, Bark River, MI; Edna Tylka, Battle Creek, MI; Carol Cox, Abrams; a special nephew, Russ (Judy) Header; many other cherished nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Ruth Heider; two brothers-in-law, Frank Tylka and Vern Cox.

Friends may call at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Frederik Schulz officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery.
