Funeral services for Mrs. Harry Delano, 66, who passed away at the family farm home on County Road J, two miles north of Brookside Saturday night, were conducted Tuesday afternoon. A large number of relatives and neighbors attended the brief service at the home at 1:15 o'clock, which was followed by the service held at the Oconto Gospel Chapel at two o'clock. The Rev. Gerald B. Smith was in charge of the funeral service, and burial was in the Brookside cemetery.

Mrs. Delano had been ill for several months with a serious heart ailment before death came about 11:30 Saturday evening. Arrangements for the funeral were in charge of the McQueen funeral home.

The pallbearers were neighbors, including James Johnson, Ralph Crawford, Albert Krueger, Arthur Leigh, Fred Meyer, and Walter Behling. The flower girls who aided Mrs. Fred Meyer were Alta Kastner, Althea Kriewaldt, Adeline Mierke, Ruth Moak, LaVerne Belland, Ruth Meyer and Stella Alberts.

The deceased was born in Germany, February 23, 1876, had been a resident of the Couillardville area for the past 37 years. Besides her husband, Harry Delano, she is survived by two sons, Milton Nichols of Reedsburg, Wis., Edward of Oconto; one daughter Mrs. Arthur Matravers, Couillardville, and six grandchildren.
