Maynard H. Colson, age 64, of 132 Jefferson St. died at the Oconto Memorial Hospital, Feb. 12, 1988 after a long illness. Maynard was born Sept. 30,1923 in Oconto and was a lifetime resident. He married Marjorie Modrow, Dec. 8, 1951 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He worked at Bond Pickle Co. for thirteen years.

Survivors include: his wife, Marjorie; two daughters, Sharon Carr, Milwaukee, and Shirley West, Houston, Texas; two sons, Gary Modrow, Milwaukee, and Steven Colson, Huntsville, Ala.; one brother, Eugene, Oconto; two sisters, Doris Wusterbarth and Ida Mae Barribeau, Oconto; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Friends called at the Gallagher-Pinkart Funeral Home on Sunday, where a prayer service was held. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church; the Rev. Vianney Sipulski officiated. Burial in the Evergreen Cemetery.
