Oconto County Times-Herald (page 8) February 3, 1999 PESHTIGO--Margret "Maggie" (Hoijer) Bayer, 50, died unexpectedly and went to be with her angels on Sunday, Jan. 31, 1999, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Green Bay. Born on Nov. 19, 1948, in Chicago, III, she married Harold A. Bayer on June 17, 1967. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Peshtigo and was an active member of Christian Mothers and St. Mary's Altar Society.

She is survived by her husband, Harold; two daughters, Barbara Bayer, at home; Mary (Dan) Lemke, Peshtigo; one son, David (Kimberly), Oconto Falls; five sisters, Dorothy (Ernest) Lucas, Tuscon, Ariz.; Linda Hoijer, Stephenson, Mich; Linnea (Jerry) Fischer, Tuscon, Ariz.; Mary Hoijer, Menominee, Mich; Melody Peterson, Menominee, Mich; three brothers, Bill (Jan) Hoijer, Mt. Prospect, Ill.; John (Florence) Hoijer, Stephenson, Mich.; Tom Hoijer, Venice, Fla.; five grandchildren, Devon Bayer, Hannah Lemke, Jeff, Amber and Katie Bayer; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James David Hoijer.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at Berth & Rosenthal Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Prayer Service there at 7 p.m. Funeral Services Thursday, St. Mary Church in Peshtigo at 10 a.m., the Rev. Robert Stegmann officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Tim Smotucha, Aaron Sundstrom, Joe, Mike, Andrew and Jimmy Bayer.
