The funeral of the late Margaret G. Valliere was held Easter Sunday from the Valliere residence and then to Peshtigo. The Rev. Mr. S---- officiated and internment was at Riverside. In spite of the bad ice then on the roads the funeral was largely attended. Mrs. Valliere was a woman highly esteemed by everyone, a devoted wife, mother and daughter, a kind neighbor and a kind woman. Truly it can be said of her "She hath done what she could". The sympathy of Grover goes out to the sorrowing relatives especially to the aged mother and the lonely husband.
