Mrs. Minnie Phillips Dies; Burial Saturday

Mrs. Minnie Phillips 57, of 207 Scherer-Avenue, died at nine o'clock Tuesday evening, June 25. She had been in ill health since in a car accident in 1942. She was born May 11, 1889 in Abrams and has been a lifetime resident of Oconto County.

She was a member of the Women's Guild of St. Mark's.

The body was a Gallager's funeral home and services were held there at ten forty-five Saturday morning and at St. Mark's Episcopal church at eleven o'clock. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery with the Rev. S. J. Hedelund officiating.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Carl Strom, R1, Oconto; Mrs. Joseph Makos, Milwaukee, and Mrs Ernest Barker, Highwood Illinois; two sons Leonard, Milwaukee, and Jackie at home; four brothers, George Goodchild, Iron Mountain, Michigan; Edward Goodchild, Big Bay, Michigan; Frank Goodchild , Blackwell, Wisconsin and Earl Goodchild, Two Rivers, Wisconsin; also thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
