He was born June 5, 1898 and was a lifetime resident of the town. he married the former Margaret LeFevre on Oct. 27, 1920 at Oconto. she survives along with two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Zimmerman of Sioux Falls, S.D. and Mrs. Stanley Scheffen, route 2 Oconto; four brothers, Raymond (Boots), Donald, Harold and Clair (Bo) Matravers, all of Abrams; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Zimmerman and Mrs. Walfred Stam, both of Green Bay and eight grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Gallagher-Pinkart funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Final rites will be held there Monday at 2 p.m. and will be conducted by the Re. Frederick Mai. Burial will be in the Brookside Cemetery.
