FARMER IN OCONTO
OVER FIFTY YEARS
DIES ON TUESDAY

Gerard Laduron, a farmer, in the County of Oconto for 55 years, died at his home in Brookside Tuesday, September 4. In August he suffered a broken hip, and was taken to the Oconto hospital for treatment. A few weeks later he had a slight paralytic stoke and was taken to his home in Brookside.

Deceased was born in Meux, Belgium January 19, 1843 and come to American in 1855. Sixty years ago he married Miss Mathilda Fabry and they came to live on the farm in Brookside which has been their home ever since.

He is survived by his wife, eight sons, Ronie of Oshkosh; Joseph and Alex of Green Bay; Frank of Portland, Ore.; George of Big Suamico; and William, Desire and Gerard of Brookside; and three daughters. Mrs. Mary Russel of Oconto; Mrs. Emil Darr of Brookside and Mrs. Pomp of County Line. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, three brothers, John and Bonie of Brookside and Alexis of Oconto Falls, and one brother-in-law Celestine Parens of Brussels, Wis.

The funeral will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Louis Catholic church of Abrams, Father O'Herin of Stiles officiating. Burial will be made in the Catholic Cemetery at Oconto.
