Suring

Suring- Michael F. Winkler, Age 88, passed on to a new life on January 9, 2000 at Oconto Falls Community Memorial Hospital. He was born September 26, 1911 in Bach, Austria and came to Milwaukee at age 10 where he lived and worked. He worked a few years at Veteran's Service Exchange and retired from Pabst Brewing Company in 1973. He and his wife, Dorothy, then moved to Suring. He was in the South Pacific Theatre during World War 2 and wad honorably discharged in 1944.

Michael is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy, his four children and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Krause Funeral Home in Milwaukee.
