Mabel Eckert Vandenack

Mrs. Lawrence (Mabel) Vandenack, 87, Green Bay,
died Thursday evening, March 21, 2002.
Born in Oconto November 17, 1914 she was the
daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Krueger) Eckert.
On. August 9, 1933 she married Lawrence
Vandenack at St. Patrick Church in Stiles. He preceded
her in death on September 5, 1966. Mabel worked at
Bellin Memorial Hospital in housekeeping for about 15
years. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier
Cathedral. Mabel enjoyed being a homemaker and
spending time with her family.
Survived by: one son, Roger Vandenack and special
friend Helen Belongia of Green Bay; one sister, Alice
Belongia of Green Bay; many nieces, nephews, and
friends.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband Lawrence;
one daughter, Marjorie Vandenack; one
daughter-in-law, Betty Vandenack; two grandsons
Curtis and Scott Vandenack; one sister and two
brothers-in-law, Beatrice and Luke Heroux, and Duffy
Belongia; one brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Millie
Eckert.
Private services were held at MALCORE Funeral
Home, Green Bay. Burial in Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
