Mrs. E. Templar Crossed to the Bright Beyond  
Passed Away Last Monday After Several Years' Illness;  
Lived Here 10 Years

Mrs. Ed Simpson Templar died at the family home on North Main street, last Monday, after an illness from which she had suffered for several years. The deceased lady was born at Le Roy, Dodge Co, December 16, 1873, and was in her 54th year when she answered the call of the Angel of Death. She, with her husband, moved to this city about ten years ago, during which time, by her genial disposition and charitable qualities, won the high regard of many friends, all of whom deeply sympathize with the stricken family in the loss of one so loved and loving.

Mrs. Templar is survived by her husband, Edward Templar, and one daughter, Leona Parker of Waukegan, Ill., and one son, Robert Templar of Oshkosh, Wis. The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. H. A. Misdall, and burial was made in Woodlawn cemetery. The pallbearers were Robert Campbell, Henry Ratz, O.B. Judd, Emmett Johnson, W.J. McCauley and A.L. Holmes.

The services at the grave were conducted by the local Post of the Grand Army of the Republic, and concluded with the depositing of flowers in the grave of their deceased sister and a benediction by Rev. Misdall.

The relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral ceremonies were her brothers, Ed Simpson and wife from Fond Du Lac, Will Simpson from Waupun, and Mrs. Will Templar from Waupun; and Mrs. Oscar Nelson of North Fond Du Lac., Mrs. Ed Woodruff of Oakfield, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Donald Rymer of Oakfield, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Templar and family of Horicon, Mrs. Will Field and son of L(?) Corners, Wayne Schneid…(?)
