Olson, Myrtle
Myrtle E. Olson, 96, of Oconto, passed away peacefully on March 16, 2016 at
Sun Valley Home, Nine Acres, Oconto. Myrtle was born February 2, 1920 in
Oconto to the late Joseph and Anna (Marks) Burkhardt. She married Kenneth
Olson on February 14, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 17, 2006.
Myrtle worked at Sylvester's Florist for many years. She was a member of St.
Paul's Episcopal Church, Marinette, Oconto Hospital Auxiliary and Oconto
Historical Society.
Myrtle is survived by her son, Gordon (Kathy) Olson, Oconto; daughter, Carol
(Jon) Stewart; five granddhildren, Heidi (Rick) Nerenhausen, Alissa (Scott)
Boucher, Ethan (Nikki) Olson, Jesse (Diane Herald) Stewart, Emily (Josh)
Bostedt; and five great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Peyton, Cameron, Sage,
Sydney, Alyvia and Maks. She was preceded in death by two sisters and two
brothers.
