Muriel Klein, 65, Stiles, died suddenly Tuesday, November 16, 1999 at home of natural causes. She was born May 1, 1934 in Milwaukee to Fred and Jessie (Mann) Eggert. She grew up in Milwaukee and graduated from West Milwaukee High School with the class of 1952. On March 27, 1954 she married Thomas Klein Sr. in West Allis. The couple lived in Stiles many years before moving to Stiles in 1972. Muriel has since lived in Stiles and worked at Community Memorial Hospital and was currently employed as a receptionist. She enjoyed weight lifting, shooting pool and just being with friends.

Survivors are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Tom Klein Jr., Elkhorn; Jerry and Shannon D'Angelo-Klein, Stiles; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and John Krauss, Eagle; Kristi and Mike Montie, Oconto Falls; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Tom on March 10, 1987 and one sister. Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls. Funeral service was 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jodi Arpke-Lone officiating. Burial in the Town of Stiles Cemetery. "Don't cry for me as I have had a wonderful life."
