Oconto Falls- The community was saddened Saturday to learn that Miss Dora Schneider, a lifelong resident of this community, had passed away in her sleep early that morning. Miss Schneider had been ill this spring but was recovering nicely and feeling much better, so her death was a shock to her family and friends.

She was born June 18, 1896 in the town of Morgan, but had resided in the city for many years. She is survived by her sister Anna who shared her home with her, and her brother Fred of Green Bay, a nephew and a niece.

A member of the Rebekkah Lodge of Oconto this organization held their memorial rites at the Soulek Funeral Home on Sunday evening. Miss Schneider was a faithful member of the Methodist Church and it's Woman's Society and the Elizabeth Circle.

Funeral services were held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday afternoon, the Rev. Cecil V. Dawson officiating. Burial took place in Woodlawn Cemetery, with three cousins, Fred, Ed and Harvey Wellnitz and David Trudell Sr., Earl Tracey and Lester Sagle of Menasha, acting as pallbearers.
