Marvin C. Wiseman, 88, of 9712 Hwy 64, Pound, died Thurs. Nov. 16, 2000 at Woodland Village Nursing Home, Suring.

The son of the late Ward and Gertrude (Weber) Wiseman was born Aug. 14, 1912 in the Town of Brazeau. He was a veteran of WWII having served with CB's in the U.S. Navy. Marvin was married to the former Florence Brickner on June 17, 1936 in Marinette. He was employed for the Graetz Mfg. Co., Pound from 1945 until retirement in 1978. He was a member of Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Klondike and the Kalbes- Seewald American Legion Post #280, Coleman.

Surviving are his wife, Florence; four children; Cheryl (Bob) Floriant of Ava, MO; Sandra Wiseman of Atlanta, GA; Dan (Marilyn) Wiseman of Leesburg, VA; and Herb Wiseman of Berkeley, CA; four grandchildren; Eric Floriano, Amy Floriano Fitzgerald, Aaron and Megan Wiseman; and one sister Irene Raycraft of IL. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Jean Marie and two sisters; Mildred and Frances.

Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata funeral home, Coleman, from 5-8 p.m. Monday with a wake service at 7 p.m. There will be visitation from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Klondike. Interment will be in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Klondike. Military rites were conducted at graveside.
