Mary Carlin Carlin White

Mrs. Mary White, a former resident of Oconto County, died at her home in Sagola, Mich., Friday, December 10, of apoplexy.

Mrs. White nee Carlin was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Sept. 14, 1855, and came to Oconto county as a child, living here for many years. She had also made her home in Channing, and Sagola, Mich. Mrs. White was first married to James McNulty, who died a number of years ago. She was later married to William White, who also preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her death, one daughter, Mrs. R. E. Hayes of Sagola, Mich., five brothers, Noble, Carlin, Town of Oconto; George Carlin, Port- land, Oregon; James Carlin, Minocqua, Mich., and Patrick Carlin, Mexico; two sisters, Mrs. George Foster, Menominee, Mich., and Mrs. Florence Crowley, Esterville, Ont., Canada.

The body was brought to Oconto Saturday night from Sagola and taken to the Gagnon Mortuary. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. L. C. Becker officiating. Internment was made in the Catholic cemetery. The pallbearers were : Noble Carlin, Dr. R. E. Hayes, George Foster and son, Harold.

People from out of town who attended the funeral included Dr. and Mrs. R. E. Hayes of Sagola, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. George Foster and son, Harold, of Menominee and Mr. and Mrs. William McNulty of Channing.
