On September 6, 1963, he married Elsie Caligiuri in Garden Grove.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie; three daughters, Karen Morin of Carrellton, Texas, Sandra Hillman of Livingston, Montana and Clairlynn Snow of Tacoma, Washington; four grandchildren, one great grandchild; seven nephews, one niece, and two sisters-in-law, Esther Melody of Tein Falls, Idaho, and Lois Fulton of Fayettecille, Arkansaw.
Mr Melody was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mary Henning and three brothers, Thomas Norbert, Walter Ben, and Giles Rupert Melody.
Funeral services were held May 16, 1994 at Westminster Memorial Park in Garden Grove. Pastor Robert Poudrier officiated. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Park .
