AGED LADY PASSES AWAY:  
Mrs. Christina Hartman Aged 81 Years After Short Illness 
Resided Oconto 30 Years
Funeral This Afternoon from German Lutheran Church with Internment in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Christina Hartman, wife of Frederick Hartman, died at her home in the town of Oconto just south of the city limits, Monday evening, after a brief illness incident to old age.

Deceased was born in Germany in 1833 where she was married to Frederick Hartman and about 30 years ago they moved here and have resided here since that time.

She is survived by her aged husband, three daughters, Mrs. William Rosenfeldt, Mrs. John Spindler and Mrs. John Mehltretter and two sons, Charles and William, all residing here. The funeral was held this afternoon from the German Lutheran church, Rev. Eisenbach officiating. with internment in Evergreen cemetery.

She was a loving and devoted wife and the love and esteem in which she was held by those who knew her are testified to by the beautiful floral offerings and large cortege which followed her remains to their resting place."
