She was active in church and club affairs here and was a member of the American Legion auxiliary of the Teddy Budlong post, which was named, after her son who was among the first American soldiers to fall in France. Surviving are her husband, who recently announced his retirement from politics because of her illness; two sons, Thomas A. of Green Bay, and Charles V. of Tucson Ariz.; two daughters, Mrs. Herman Gottsieben of Appleton and Mrs. George M. Wattles of Marinette, and three grandchildren.
The Rev. Father Roland Ahearn officiated at services at the family home and at Our Lady of Lourdes church. Burial was made in the family lot in Forest Home cemetery.
