Marjorie A. Shallow, 79, Oconto passed away March 21, 2001 at Rennes Health Center West, Peshtigo. Marjorie was born July 21, 1921 in Marinette County to the late Arthur and Mary Osmanski Brooks.

She married Mello F. Shallow September 4, 1943. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1982. Marjorie attended school at Pound and Coleman graduating from Coleman High School in 1939. She was a member of Colemanettes State Champion Basketball Team. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing cards and was an avid bowler. Marjorie operated a pickle sorting station for Pickle-Rite and later for Bond Pickle Co. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish. Survivors include two daughters Sandra Lunde, Oconto; Jane George Wos, Oconto; a son, Harry Cynthia Shallow, Oconto; two brothers Gene Dorothy Brooks, Marinette; Floyd Brooks, Pound; three sisters Bernice Sylvester Krause, Pound, Beatrice Grosse, Pound; Donna Hipke, Peshtigo; three grandchildren Michael Tricia Wos, Keegan and Logan Shallow; two great grandchildren Brandon and Amanda Wos.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters Ruth Scott Wellens, Mary Kelsey, Dorothy Thurow, Helen Wise and Eleanor Wilke; four brothers Frank, George, Arthur and Ervin Brooks; a son-in-law, Howard Lunde. Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.. Saturday, March 24.

Funeral service was 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial at St. Charles Cemetery, Lena.
