The daughter of the late Gottlieb Broderick and Bertha (Stank) was born on August 15, 1909 in Pound. She married Gust Salesky in October of 1930; he preceded her in death in 1950. She married Joseph Pieneikowski in 1954; he preceded her in death in 1981. Mary was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pound.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Geneva (James) Allard; four grandchildren John (Lorna), David (Lynn) and Mark Allard, and Mary Ann (James) Hawkins; ten great-grandchildren John, Kathy, Tim, Cindy, Christina, Scott, Mary Jane, Anna, Becky, and Max; one sister, Irene Broderick.
She was preceded in death by two sons Jimmy and David, two sisters Ruth and Lucille, and three brothers John, Edward and Elmer.
Friends called at the Rhodes- Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman, on Friday. Funeral service was 11 a.m. Saturday at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronald Hoffman officiating. Interment at the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.
