MRS. HENRY FREWERD FUNERAL WEDNESDAY

Death claimed Mrs. Henry Frewerd, 74, Sunday afternoon at 2:40 o'clock at her home, 1220 Main St. A paralytic stroke was given as the cause of death. She had been in poor health for a number of years.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the MacQueen-Gallagher Funeral home with the Rev. Starr H. Lloyd officiating. Burial was made in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Six nephews acted as pallbearers. They were as follows: Henry, John, and Louis Youngs, Fred Galland, Paul Frewerd and George Frewerd, Jr.

Mary Lucy Burns was born May 1, 1859 in Buena Vista, Portage County. She married Henry Frewerd in Green Bay 1879 (sic). She lived in Oconto for 50 years.

Mrs. Frewerd was a member of the Royal Neighbors, Beavers, and the G.A.R.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters; Mrs. Walter Rogers,, city and Mrs. Lillian Edick of Iron Mountains, Mich., and two grandchildren, Lucille Buettner and Louis Henry La Mountain.

Among those from out of town who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Sam Chelovich, and Mrs. John Follett of Chicago,; Peter Frewerd, Green Bay,; Mrs. Adda Reed and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Springer of Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. Zack Roussen, Plainfield; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Smith of Appleton.
