Mrs. Margaret E. Elbe

<3h> Mrs. Margaret E. Elbe, 86, Giliett, died Thursday at a Shawano nursing home after a long illness. She was born July 4, 1894 in the Town of Underhill. The former Margaret Bahrke was the daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha Bahrke.

She attended the Town of Underhill schools; resided in this area all her life, and married John Elbe on June 16, 1915 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Gillett. Her husband preceded her in death Nov. 23, 1966.

Mrs. Elbe was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Gillett, and the Ladies Circles of the church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Harry (Gertrude) Schmidt, Gillett; Mrs. Raymond (Ethel) Dorn, Shawano; three sons, Harold, Green Bay; Kenneth, Rt. 1, Gillett; Emory, Neenah; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
