The casket was borne by Messrs Henry Schuessler, John VanHaren, Henry Larsen, John Lemirande, Albert Konitzer, and Wm. Lotter. Mrs. Ehlinger was born August 31, 1861, at Green Bay, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Boehm. Her marriage to Ferdinand Ehlinger took place in Green Bay on Oct. 1, 1882, and the couple lived in the city for twenty years, after which they settled on a farm near here. Mr. Ehlinger passed away 22 years ago, and eight years ago Mrs. Ehlinger moved to the city to make her home with her daughter, Margaret.
Survivors are four sons, Sylvester and Frank of this community, Ferdinand of Milwaukee, and Peter of Soperton; six daughters, Sister Mary Ferdinand (Caroline), Sister Mary Consolata (Theresa), Sister Mary Anaclete (Regina), all sisters of St. Francis of Assissi of St. Francis in Milwaukee county, Margaret at home, Mrs. Floyd Jewell, Jennie, of Spruce, and Mrs. Catherine Sigl of Oconto Falls; thirty grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Frank Nachtwey of Green Bay.
The remains were removed to the O'Neill Funeral home and lay in state there until the hour of services Monday morning. Those at the rites were Frank Reinhard Sr, Mr. and Mrs. Syl. Reinhard and family, Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Reinhard and family, Mrs. Louis (continued on page 5)…
