Mrs. Mildred M. Cayo, 66, a former resident of Oconto Falls, died Thursday at the Red Arrow Nursing Home in Oconto. Mrs. Cayo was born January 11, 1902 in Oconto. The daughter of Rudolph and Rose Bauer attended School in Oconto and in the early 1930's she married Emmanuel Cayo. The Cayo family moved to the Oconto Falls area where Mr. Cayo was employed as a mechanic until his death in 1960. Mrs. Cayo then moved to the home of her daughter, Gloria, in Cecil, where she lived until becoming a patient in the nursing home in Oconto. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and three sisters.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Orvis (Gloria) Timm, Cecil, rt. 1; Mrs. June Holzschu, South Gate, Michigan; two grandchildren.

Private funeral services were held at 2 pm Monday at the Soulek Funeral Home, Oconto Falls, the Rev. Karl Diemer officiated. Burial was in the family plot of St. Anthony Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
