Milton A. Warrichaiet 60, of Black River Falls, died Monday morning, March 6, 2000 in Black River Memorial Hospital.
Milt was born on August 16, 1939 in Oconto to Russell and Anna (Holl) Warrichaiet.
He married the former Joyce Arendt on October 8, 1960 in Oconto. Prior to moving to Black River Falls (Town of Brockway), the couple had lived in Oconto, Escanaba, Wisconsin Rapids, Merrillan and Hixton.
Milt was employed for 10 years by Gambles. Upon moving to the Black River Falls area, he became employed by Louis Gardipee at the Black River Falls Gambles Store and later by James Holt at the Gambles Store. He later attended realty school and became a licensed real estate broker. He opened his own real estate agency in Black River Falls on September 1, 1979, which was first known as State Wide Realty and later as Heritage Realty.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He also served as the chairman of the Town of Brockway for three years.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce; four sons, Randal Warrichaiet of Black River Falls, Kevin (Pam) Warrichaiet of Spencer, Thomas Warrichaiet of Janesville and Gary (Katie) Warrichaiet of Pewaukee; three daughters, Sheri Warrichaiet of Menomonee Falls, Renee (Steven) Stoker of Hixton and Mary Warrichaiet of River Falls; fourteen grandchildren; his mother, Anna Warrichaiet of Oconto; three sisters, Arzella Whitcomb of Green Bay, and Doris Borkevec and Julianna (Jerry) Strom, both of Oconto; and four brothers, Joseph Warrichaiet of Shay Lake, WI, Melvin (Janet) Warrichaiet of Coleman and Vernon (Connie) Warrichaiet and Francis (Betty) Warrichaiet, both of Oconto.
He was preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Valentine and Russell; and a sister, Jean.
Funeral services for Milton A. Warrichaiet were Thursday, March 9, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Black River Falls. The Rev. Fr. Michael Braun officiated and burial was in St. Colunbkille Cemetery, at Shamrock.
Friends called at the Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls. A public prayer service was held at the funeral home.
