MRS. AUGUST LAAB 73,
DIES AT LITTLE SUAMICO

OCONTO, Wis.- Mrs. August Laabs, 83, Little Suamico resident for 60 years, died at the home, of her son Carl in that village early yesterday morning, of causes incident to old age. The body was brought to the Gagnon funeral home here, and funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church in Little Suamico, the Rev. Paul C. Eggert officiating, Internment will be in Little Suamico cemetery. |

Mrs. Laabs was born in Germany June 7, 1853, and came to Oconto County in 1876, residing here since. She is survived by her husband, August; three sons, Carl and Theodore of Little Suamico, and Herman, Republic, Mich.; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Ferdon, Manitowoc; 19 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
