-Funeral services for Mrs. Alma Kieffer, 70, who died at her farm home near Lena Friday, were held Monday afternoon at the residence. The Rev. Victor Nearhoff of Oconto Falls officiating. Final services were held at the M. E. Church, Lena. Mrs. Alma Kieffer was born Sept 6, 1863 in Chilton. In 1880 she was married to Adam Kieffer in Fort Howard, and soon after the marriage they moved to her present home in the vicinity of Lena.

Mrs. Kieffer had been in excellent health up to the time she was blown off the rear porch of her home in a severe windstorm suffering a fractured hip. She was removed to a Green Bay hospital and returned here July 28. Death was due to complications.

Five children survive, Adelbert, Frank and Walter of Lena, Mrs. Leigh of Oconto Falls and Mrs. Howard Marcouillier of Green Bay. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great grandson. Relatives attending the funeral were; Miss Inez Halsted, of Milwaukee; Urban Halsted and Mr. and Mrs. Casper Halsted, of Lena; Mr. and Mrs. Huber Cook, of Green Bay; Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Jeterson and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Peterson, of Oconto Falls, and Mrs. J. Ankerson, of Gillett. Other out of town people attending were: Mrs. Irma McKeever, Mrs. Lulu Morrissey, both of Oconto Falls; Mrs. Mae McCartney and daughter, Carolyn, of Mountain; Mr. and Mrs. O. Marcouillier, Mrs. Pearl Arts.
