He was born to William and Kathleen (Latvala) Geist February 27, 1964, in Wakefield, MI. His father preceded Michael in death. Michael was currently working at Eagle Tool Company in Oconto and had previously worked at Cruisers Yachts of Oconto.
Surviving are his mother, Kathleen of Whitehall, MI; one brother, Donald (Michelle) Geist, of Whitehall, MI; two sisters, Pamela (Greg) Sieberg, Littleton, CO; Karen (Bill) Bosio, Whitehall, MI; four nieces and nephews, Kyle and Stephanie Geist, Whitehall, MI and Cassandra and Joshua Bosio, Whitehall, MI; and his grandmother, Agnes Latvala, Bergland, MI.
Memorial services will be held this spring in Bergland, MI. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home & Crematory, Oconto is assisting the family.
