Lloyd William (Babe) Wittmann, 64, 1729 Olympus Drive, Sacramento, California, formerly of Oconto Falls, died unexpectedly Tuesday. He was born May 1, 1902 in Green Bay. He married Agnes Presl, May 28, 1924 at Oconto and came to Oconto Falls where the couple operated the Wittmann Plumbing and Heating Firm until his retirement in 1961. Mr. Wittmann was a member of the Holy Name Society, St. Anthony Church. He was a member of the Holy Name department here, was very active in civic affairs, and was an ardent fisherman. The couple would have celebrated their 42nd wedding anniversary this year. One son, Donald, preceded him in death in 1948.

Survivors are his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wilson; Mrs. Grace Williams, both of Milwaukee.

At Solek Funeral Home, Oconto Falls, after 7 tonight. Parish rosary 8 pm Sunday. Funeral 10 am Monday, St. Anthony Church, the Rev. Joseph Tomczyk officiating. Burial in Oconto Catholic Church cemetery.
