Mrs. Frank (Lola "Jean") Snyder, 73, Oconto, went home to her Lord with her family by her side on Monday, June 25, 2001.

She was born in Pensaukee on March 20, 1928 to the late Albert and Agnes (Pope) Topel. On November 23, 1946 Lola married Frank Snyder at St. Pius Catholic Church in Little Suamico. She was a very active member at St. Pius Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, refinishing furniture, and card parties. Lola especially loved time spent with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Frank; eight children Mark (Marjorie) Snyder, Brookside; Tom (Nancy) Snyder, Green Bay; Jane Sconzert and fiance Luther Thomas, Oconto; Dan (Joanne) Snyder, Green Bay; Sue (Mike Jepson, Oak Orchard; Roger (Karen) Snyder, Oak Orchard; Bruce (Debra) Snyder, Pensaukee; and Doug Snyder, Oconto. 23 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Henry (Eunice) Breed, Oconto; one brother, Lewis Topel, Cudahy; one brother-in-law, Erin Walls, Oconto; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael; one son-in-law, John Sconzert; one great-grandson, Connor; one brother, Melvin Topel; three sisters Norine Crooks, Eileen Swear, and Helen Walls.

Friends called at the Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 121 Chicago St., Oconto from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday; parish wake service 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto with Father David C. Ruby officiating. Burial at Brookside Cemetery.
