Born March 23, 1896 in Lasalle, Ill., he was a lifelong resident of the Oconto Falls area where he was a farmer. Mr. Szweda was a member of the American Legion of Oconto Palls, the VFW, and a veteran of World War I.
His wife, Agnes, preceded him in death in 1972.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Arlene Wolfe; five grandchildren, David, Robert, Gary, Nancy and Susan Wolfe; three great grand children; Keri, Jodi and Robby, all of Oconto Falls; one brother, Casimer Szweda.
Friends may call at Soulek Funeral Home, Oconto Falls, after 6 tonight. Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Sweitzer officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
