Leona was born on September 17, 1921 to the late Otto Schmidt and Emma (Schumacher) Schmidt in Shawano, WI. She married James LeRoy on June 19, 1947, who preceded her in death.
The family received friends at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home, 1145 Cardinal Lane, Howard, on Monday, June 18, from 4 until 7 p.m. Funeral service was at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Harold J. Pfotenhauer, Funeral Director.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Leona's name at the funeral home.
