The couple had owned and operated Ken's Service Station in Mountain for years. Lavine enjoyed traveling, attending flea markets, and crocheting. In later years Lavine had moved to Fond du Lac to be close to her brother and sister-in-law, Merle and Claudia Pagel of Campbellsport.
Survivors include her son, Clyde Geimer of Mountain; her two brothers Merle Claudia Pagel of Campbellsport, Ruben Nancy Pagel of Milwaukee; four grandchildren Curt, Clyde Jr., Paul, and Dawn; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her son Dennis in 1962; her sister, Ione Herkowski in 1992, and an infant brother, Chester.
Visitation was held at G! ruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring on Saturday, March 10, from 1 p.m. until funeral services 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Pastor Paul Scheunemann officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Cemetery
