Lawrence was born May 7, 1917 to the late Emil and Martha (Schwittay) Olick. He married Rosemary VanVooren on September 28, 1940, she preceded him in death on March 31, 1995. He was a self-employed mason in Milwaukee and later a truck driver. Lawrence moved to California where he worked at Thrifty Drug Warehouse until retiring in 1979 and then moved to Oconto.
Survivors include two brothers, Virgil Olick of Shawano and Dennis Olick of Mauston; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ansel.
Visitation will be held at the Gallagher Funeral Home, in Oconto from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 24. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial will be at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
