Lloyd O. Andrews, 84, Lakewood, died May 13, 2000 at the Bay Area Medical Center in Marinette following a short illness.
He was born in Carter on February 7, 1916 to the late William and Maude (Hammond) Andrews. Lloyd married Jenneda Herning on February 2, 1940 in Crandon. He was employed by the U.S. Forest Service, working for the Lakewood Ranger Station for 25 years until retiring in 1976. Lloyd enjoyed his trips out west going hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed his Labrador dogs and planting trees.
Survivors include his wife of over 60 years, Jenneda Andrews, of Lakewood; his half brother, Tytus (Germaine) Collins, of Wabeno; two sisters-in-law, Donella Andrews, of Akron, OH, Dora Andrews, of Sheboygan, MI; his sister, Elna Criscone, of Sun City Center, FL; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Glenn, Leo, and William; tow sisters, Florence Bailey and Opal Andrews.
Visitation was held Tuesday, May 16, 2000 at the Northwood Bible Fellowship Church in Lakewood beginning at 9:30 a.m. Funeral services were at 11 a.m. at the Church with Pastor Dennis L. Larson officiating. Burial was in Lakewood Cemetery. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home, Suring was in charge of arrangements.
