Lucille Marie Warrington, 72, Suring (South Branch - Menominee County) died at the Shawano Medical Center June 11, 2001. She was born in Keshena May 1, 1929 to the late Margaret (Alex Peters) and Leo Mahkimetas. Lucille married Luke Warrington January 8, 1957. She was a member at St. Joseph's of the Lake Catholic Church in South Branch.

Survivors include her husband Luke of South Branch; her two daughters Rosella DeLa-Cruz and Charlene Olson both South Branch; two sons Richard (Eleanore) Olson of South Branch, Clifford (Beatrice) Olson of Englewood, CO; her four sisters Edith Peters and Jean (Ken) Long of South Branch, Donnie Peters of Neopit, Margaret Peters of Keshena, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren including a very special granddaughter, Lucille Marie Machipness of South Branch.

Preceded in death by her four sisters Ella, Mabel, Delores, and Lonie; her four sons Edward, Calvin, Martin and Clarence; her two brothers Jim "Flea" Peters and Alex Peters.

Visitation was held at the Luke Warrington Residence, Highway M, South Branch on Tuesday, June 12 beginning at 5 p.m. A prayer vigil was held Thursday 8 p.m. Funeral Mass was Friday 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's of the Lake Catholic with Father David Barrett officiating. Burial in St. Joseph's of the Lake Catholic Cemetery, South Branch. Crivitz Funeral Home, Suring, in charge of arrangements.
