Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon for Mrs. Nels Paulsen, who passed away Tuesday evening, from the O'Neill Funeral home at one thirty o'clock and at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock. The Rev. Raymond L. Greene will officiate and burial will take place in Woodlawn cemetery.

Mrs. Paulsen, who had been ill for the past six months, passed away peacefully, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh McDermid at six thirty at the age of 76 years.

She was born in Denmark April 21, 1886 and the former Miss Laurina Marcussen was married to Nels Paulsen there 48 years ago. Upon coming to America Mr. and Mrs. Paulsen settled on a farm near the city, and have resided here for a number of years.

Survivors include the husbank, the daughter Mrs. Hugh McDermid and two brothers and a sister in Denmark. A quiet unassuming little woman, Mrs. Paulsen won for herself many friends all of whom are deeply sympathizing with the bereaved.
