MRS. BEN YOUNG, OCONTO FALLS, DIES 
OCONTO FALLS, Wis.

Mrs. Ben Young, 89, died at her home here at 10:30 this morning after a long illness. The former Lillian Lees, daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. I. C. Lees, she was born January 31, 1878 in England and educated there. She came to the United States 43 years ago, and worked as a telephone operator in Rockford Ill. And Evansville, Wis., and served as a nurse for five years during World War II. She was married in Menominee, Mich., July 8, 1921.

The Youngs lived in Green Bay, Marinette and Madison following their marriage, before coming to Oconto Falls in 1931. Mrs. Young was a past president of the American Legion auxiliary. Survivors are her husband; a sister, Mrs. Ethil Radich, Madison and a brother, Leonard Lees, Norman Okla.

The body is at the Flatley Funeral home, where rites will be conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon. Burial will be in the Morgan cemetery.
