He was born May 25, 1925 in Marquette, Michigan and served in the U.S. Coast Guard during WWII. He married Audrey Lewandowski October 20, 1951 at Holy Family Church in Cudahy. Following years of employment at Ladish as a machinist the couple moved to Suring in 1973. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Suring.
Survivors include his wife Audrey of Suring; a daughter, Christine (Brian) Ireland of Cudahy; a brother, Michael LaCasse of Oak Creek; a sister, Floreda (Leonard) Behmke of Milwaukee; two brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held at Nativity of the Lord Church in Cudahy on Thursday, November 9 from 11 a.m. until funeral services 12 noon with Father Terrance Huebner officiating. Burial in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Cudahy. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home, Suring, WI in charge of arrangements.
