   Mrs. Lydia Valitchka, 91, 703 Clark Ave, Oconto, died Tuesday, June 28, at the Riverside Nursing Home, Oconto, after a long illness.

   The former Lydia Kittler was born in Oconto Sept 23, 1891 and was a lifelong local resident.  She was married to Frank Valitchka Aug. 21, 1918 in Menominee, Michigan.  He died Nov. 13, 1971.  Mrs. Valitchka was a member of the First Presbyterian church and an active member of the Presbyterian Women's Association.

   Survivors include three daughters, Eunice Johnson of Green Bay, Dorothy Coopman of Menasha, and Alice Saucier of Manitowoc and Matt of Seymour; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.  Fourteen brothers and sisters and two grandchildren died previously.

   Visitation was at the Gallagher-Pinkart funeral home, Oconto.  Services were held at the church with Rev. John Lyford officiating.  Burial was at the Brookside cemetery.
