.Louis Koch of Lakewood, 60, died Tuesday December 4 at his home from a heart condition.  Born at Appleton Oct. 24, 1896, he had lived in the Lakewood area since 1910, working in the woods and as a carpenter and recently as janitor at the Lakewood School.  He was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the American Legion Post at Wabeno.

The Rev. Neil Martin conducted the last rites in the Community Bible Church at Lakewood at 2 o’clock pm Friday.  Burial was in the Lakewood Cemetery.  Soulek Funeral Home in Suring was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Koch is survived by his wife, Ruth;  two daughters, Mrs John (Dorothy) Hess and Mrs. Douglas (Arvis) Flynn, Lakewood; two sons, Louis Jr. Oconto, and Donald, at home;  three brothers, Otto, Of Green Bay, and William and Herman, Lakewood;  four sisters, Mrs. Joh Collins, Mrs. Earl Keesler and Mrs. Wallace Durkee, Shiocton and Mrs. Anna Hegner, Appleton, and nine grandchildren.
