Mrs. Dake, nee Laura Kluenner, was born in this city Jan. 3, 1882, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Kluenner. (note: Mrs. August Kluenner was Wilhelmina Tillman of Oconto County) She was married to Mr. Dake in Madison on Oct. 7, 1912. Mr. Dake preceded her in dealt several years ago.
Surviving Mrs. Dake are two daughters, Mrs. John Talbott, Hustisford; and Mrs. Ernst Hesse, Juneau; the brothers and sisters, Robert Kluenner, Mrs. Charles Schumann, and Mrs. Lentfoehr, this city; Arthur, Hastings, Nebr.; and Mrs. Ella Henninger, Beaver Dam; and one grandchild.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, Mayville Women's club, St. Paul's Mission society, and the Woman's Society of Christian Service.
The body was removed from the Koepsell Funeral Home, and was in state in the Methodist church Monday, when services were conducted by the Rev. L. M. Douglass, and interment was made in the Graceland cemetery.
